Pas 30 vitesh, Silvio Berlusconi, ka shitur klubin e AC Milan. Marrëveshja u arrit mes “Fininvest”, që kishte pronësinë e 99.93% të klubit kuqezi dhe një grupi investitorësh nga Kina, që do të paguajnë 740 milionë euro për të blerë klubin italian, 220 milionë euro do të shkojnë për larjet e borxhit. Pas arritjes së marrëveshjes janë firmosur edhe kontratat paraprake. Në orët e ardhshme palët do të zyrtarizojnë marrëveshjen në parim, ndërsa në fund të këtij viti kalendarik, përfundimisht, AC Milan do të ndryshojë pronarin.
Ka qenë një arritje marrëveshje e befasishme sepse klubi i Milan nuk është blerë nga grupi i investitorëve kinez që përfaqësohej nga menaxherët Gancikoff dhe Galatioto (që të dy janë jashtë nga kjo marrëveshje) as nga grupi Fosun, pas të cilit përfshihet menaxheri portugez Jorde Mendes, i cili kishte nisur kontaktet me Silvio Berlusconi gjatë muajit të fundit kur pronari kuqezi doli nga spitali. Grupi aziatik që do të ketë pronësinë e AC Milan përfaqësohet nga menaxheri Yonghong Li. Ky i fundit ka ruajtur sekretin deri në momentin e fundit të bisedimeve, kur u arrit marrëveshje prej rreth 750 milionë eurosh.
Grupi që merr pronësinë e Milan quhet “Sino-Europe Investment Management Changxing”. Bëhet fjalë për një shoqëri që është bashkuar me Haixia Capital (fondi i shtetit kinez për investime). Gjithçka është komanduar nga Yonghong Li, menaxheri që arriti të bindë Silvio Berlusconi. Kjo organizatë mposhti konkurrencën e kinezëve të tjerë që drejtoheshin nga Galatioto, që menjëherë pranoi publikisht se klubi i Milan do të kishte pronarë të rinj. Berlusconi, për ta rikthyer Milan atje ku ka qenë, ka vënë një klauzolë në kontratë që i detyron kinezët të investojnë 350 milionë euro për te vjet, 100 milionë do të investohen që pas firmës mbi kontratë që pritet të ndodhë në orët e ardhshme.
