Federata e Basketbollit të Kosovës ka zyrtarizuar trajnerin e ri të Përfaqësueses, duke gjetur në mënyrë të përkryer pasuesin e Arben Krasniqit, i cili nuk arriti ta dëshmonte vetën në kualifikimet e para pas pranimit të federatës tonë në FIBA.
Trajneri i ri i Kosovës është, Brad Greenberg, i cili është i dëshmuar në këtë lami, pasi ka drejtuar skuadra të fuqishme siç ajo izraelite e Macabi Haifa dhe ajo turke e Eskisehir, po ka përvojë te ekipet përfaqësuese, pasi së fundmi ka qenë ndihmës trajner në Përfaqësuesen e Venezuelës.
Greenberg ka nënshkruajtur kontratë 1-vjeçare me FBK-në, por në rast suksesi bashkëpunimi mund të vazhdojë.
Kujtojmë që Greenberg do të fillojë punën me Përfqësuesen me 12 – 22 korrik, kur edhe do të bëhet grumbullimi i Kosovës.
“Kam dashur të jem trajner i një Përfaqësueseje sepse deri më tash kam udhëhequr vetëm ekipe dhe jam shumë i gëzuar që FBK-së, më ka dhënë mundësinë të punoj me përfaqësuesen tuaj.
Unë jam trajner që kam fokus të veçantë në mbrojtje, ndërsa për mua është shumë rëndësishme që në përfaqësuese të ftojmë lojtarë të rinjë në të ardhmen e afërt.
Së bashku me stafin e FBK-së, jemi duke u përpjekur të gjejmë stafin më të mirë të mundshshëm për kualifikimet që na presin.
Objektivi ynë nuk është vetëm pjesmarrja sepse ne do t’i qasemi çdo ndeshje për ta fituar. Kemi një listë të gjatë të ndeshjeve miqësore dhe besoj se do të jemi të gatshëm për parakualifikimet në muajin gusht”, përfundoi Greenberg.
