Stadiumet në Shqipëri gjatë tre viteve të fundit kanë marrë tjetër pamje. Që prej nisjes së punimeve në “Elbasan Arena” e deri me përfundimin e “Loro Boriçit”, në vendin tonë po punohet për përmirësimin e stadiumeve, sidomos të atyre që përdoren për ndeshjet e Superiores, por edhe për kombëtaren, si për ekipin e parë, ashtu edhe për moshat.
Megjithatë, sa i përket vendeve që ofrojnë për të parë ndeshjen në impiant, ende kemi shumë punë për të bërë. “Loro Boriçi” ofron në total 17 mijë e 300 vende, ndërsa “Elbasan Arena” 13 mijë.
Sa i përket renditjes europiane për kapacitetin që ofrojnë stadiumet, Shqipëria ndodhet afër fundit, duke lënë pas vende që nuk kanë pasur shumë arritje në kompeticionet më të rëndësishme për klube apo për përfaqësueset e tyre.
Lëmë pas vetëm Slloveninë dhe Malin e Zi, si dy fqinjët më të afërt, ndërsa na lë pas edhe Kosova, e cila krenohet me stadiumin olimpik “Adem Jashari”, i cili ka kapacitet prej 18 mijë e 200 ndenjësesh.
Gjithashtu, edhe Maqedonia e Malta lënë pas vendin tonë, pasi kanë stadiume më të mëdhenj. Sa i përket kryesuesve të listës, janë spanjollët, të cilët krenohen me “Camp Nou”, i cili ka kapacitet prej 99 mijë e 354 ulësesh, ndërsa listën e mbyll Andorra me stadiumin prej 3306 ndenjësesh. Shqipëria pozicionohet në vendin e 38 në listë.
