Pas 3 humbjeve në 3 ndeshjet e fundit të kualifikueseve të Botërorit Rusi 2018, trajneri i Kombëtares shqiptare Gianni De Biasi vihet në siklet nga pyetjet e gazetarëve italianë.
Pas ndeshjes së humbur me Italinë 2-0 në konferencën për shtyp trajneri De Biasi është pyetur nga ‘Rai Sport’ për një dorëheqje të mundshme dhe ka thënë:
“Jo,është ende herët. Të kalojë kjo natë dhe më pas do të flas me Presidentin Duka”.
Trajneri analizon edhe detaje të ndeshjes dhe sqaron që ka mbetur i zhgënjyer nga sjellja e tifozëve:
“Në aspektin teknik dhe taktik bëmë një ndeshje të mirë edhe impenjimi po ashtu më pëlqeu kthemi në shtëpi të pakënaqur.
Më erdhi shumë keq për hedhjen e flakadanëve dhe tymueseve në fushë. Pashë një realitet që nuk e kisha zbuluar këto 5 vite të qëndrimit tim në Shqipëri. Jam i zhgënjyer dhe më vjen shumë keq për atë që ndodhi” e mbyll De Biasi, i cili ne nje interviste me pare theksoi se shume raste u shperdoruan.
Mbrojtësi Hysaj pas ndeshjes ka deklaruar:
“Pavarësisht rezultatit zhvilluam një ndeshje të mirë. E nisëm mirë ndeshjen ,humbëm raste dhe më pas erdhi penalltia,gjyqtari na nxorri shumë kartona që na penalizuan. Duhet të shohim përpara për ndeshjen e radhës. Kemi luajtur ndaj Spanjës dhe Italisë dy skuadra të mëdha me lojtarë të tillë por tipi i lojës është i ndryshëm” përfundon Hysaj.
I kënaqur me tre pikët ishte trajneri i Italisë Gian Piero Ventura i cili deklaroi pas ndeshjes se të kaltërit po krijojnë një grup lojtarësh të rëndësishëm dhe kemi bërë një hap përpara. Në fillim kishim pak vështirësi ndërsa në pjesën e dytë ndryshuam mentalitet dhe Shqipëria nuk goditi më në portë e mbyll Ventura.
De Rossi dhe Immobile shënuan golat e fitores duke mbajtur Italinë në të njëjtin hap me Spanjën në grupin G ndërsa Shqipëria mbetet e katërta.
