FIFA ka bërë sot publike detajet e projektit të titulluar “The Best” (Më i miri), trofeut i cili do të ketë si qëllim të eklipsojë “Topin e Artë”. Që pas ndarjes me “France Football” për dorëzimin e trofeut individual, organizata që drejton futbollin botëror ka hartuar planin e saj për të nderuar futbollistin më të mirë në planet dhe sot ka zbuluar disa prej detajeve të ceremonisë të edicionit të parë më 9 janar 2017.
Sipas njoftimit zyrtar të FIFA-s, votimi për “The Best”, do të ndikohet nga votat e tifozëve. Fituesi do të zgjidhet nëpërmjet një procesi ku 50% e rezultatit bazohet në zgjedhjet e kapitenëve dhe trajnerëve të kombëtareve të futbollit në botë. Ndërsa 50% tjetër do të ndahen mes rezultateve të një sondazhi të hapur për publikun dhe votave të një grupi të zgjedhur prej më shumë se 200 përfaqësuesish të mediave në botë.
Risia e këtij evenimenti do të jetë “FIFA Fan Award”, një trofe që jepet për fansat, me disa kandidatura të përzgjedhura nga një panel ekspertësh dhe më pas të votuara nga vetë tifozët.
Në total do të jenë 8 trofe që do të dorëzohen në ceremoni:
* Lojtari më i mirë 2016
* Lojtarja më e mirë 2016
* Trajneri më i mirë për meshkuj 2016
* Trajneri më i mirë për femra 2016
* Çmimi “Pushkash” (Goli i vitit) 2016
* FIFA Fair Play 2016
* Çmimi i Fansave 2016
•FIFPro Ekipi i viti 2016
Gjatë kësaj jave do të mësohen edhe emrat e kandidatëve për të fituar këto trofe. Më 1 nëntor do të publikohen 10 emrat e trajnerëve më të mirë në futbollin e femrave, më 2 nëntor ato të 10 trajnerëve më të mirë për futbollin e meshkujve, më 3 nëntor do të publikohen 10 kandidatet për çmimin e futbollistes më të mirë dhe me 4 nëntor do të publikohen 23 kandidatët për trofeun e “The Best” për meshkuj.
Votimi nga publiku do të fillojë më 4 nëntor dhe do të mbyllet më 22 nëntor. Ndërkaq, lista me tre finalistët për secilën kategori do të bëhet publike me 2 dhjetor.
