Në vend të maskotave tradicionale që përfaqësohen nga fëmijët, në Ligën suedeze të futbollit këtë herë në krah të lojtarëve kishte vend për disa njerëz të tjerë specialë.
Klubi i AIK Solna provoi një iniciativë të re në ndeshjen ndaj Gefle, duke i dhënë mundësinë të zbresin në fushë, anëtarët më të vjetër të tifozëve.
Binte në sy mbi të gjithë pensionistët e tjerë, ish presidenti i UEFA-s Lenart Johanson, që mban dhe titullin president nderi i AIK-ut.
Ideja ishte pjesë e një fushate të lançuar nga klubi nordik për bileta në stadium me çmime të lira dhe transport falas të personave në moshë të thyer, nga azilet e pleqve deri në qendrat sportive.
“Ka shumë prej nesh që kanë jetuar gjatë gjithë kohës me ngjyrat e AIK Solna, dhe për një motiv apo tjetër nuk mund të shkojnë në stadium në ditët e sotme. Kjo nuk do të thotë që ata e kanë harruar klubin por e kanë të vështirë të lëvizin” tha ish-presidenti i UEFA-s, Lenart johanson.
Si dhuratë speciale për tifozët specialë, AIK Solna fitoi ndeshjen 1-0, duke marrë dhe vendin e tretë në renditje.
