Ka fituar Shqipëria , 3-2, por në fund janë ndarë ashtu si ju takon, me një përqafim mes dy skuadrave të një gjaku, edhe pse ishte ndeshja e parë zyrtare mes Kosovës dhe Shqipërisë, që fati e deshi të merrte jetë në futbollin e femrave e pikërisht në eleminatoret e Botërorit 2019 për këtë kategori.
Në Elbasan Arena skuadra e Armir Grimës merr 3 pikët e para vetëm në shtesë, kur dukej se gjithcka do të mbyllej në barazim 2-2. Ishte një ndeshje e luftuar dhe plot rivalitet, me Shqipërinë që gjeti rrugën e golit e para me Arbiona Bajraktarin e cila goditi saktë me kokë pas një krosimi të bukur te Megi Docit.
1-0 për Shqipërinë në një moment kyc të ndeshjes, megjithëse nuk munguan protestat e vajzave nga Kosova pasi njëra prej tyre gjendej e shtrirë në zonë në momentin e aksionit. Barazimi i Kosovës erdhi në minutën e 35-të, kur Agnesa Rexha me kokë i hoqi topin nga dora portieres së Shqipërisë, Marigonza Zani dhe realizoi.
Edhe këtë herë protesta të shumta, këtë radhë nga vajzat kuqezi me Zanin që u ndëshkua edhe me karton të verdhë nga gjyqtarja skoceze, e cila e akordoi golin si të rregullt në mënyrë shumë të cuditshme. Pas një pjese të parë të mbyllur në barazim e dyta solli avantazhin e Kosovës me Agnesa Rexhën që u bë sërish protagoniste. Sulmuesja e Kosovës shfrytëzoi një krosim të Kryeziut dhe me një goditje të bukur me kokë ndëshkoi portieren Zani
Në disavantazh skuadra e Armir Grimës megjithatë nuk u dorëzua dhe u hodh e gjitha përpara në kërkim të golit të barazimit. Në të 69-tën Durguti shpëtoi Kosovën mbi vijën fatale, por barazimi i vajzave kuqezi erdhi në të 75-tën me Furtuna Veljan që ekzekutoi në mënyrë perfekte një goditje standarte.
Kur gjithcka u duk se do të mbyllej në barazim 2-2, erdhi edhe goli i fitores për Shqipërinë. Në fakt ishte një autogol i Blerina Musës që devijoi në portën e saj një top të hedhur në zonë në sekondat e fundit të minutës së 5-t shtesë.
3-2 për Shqipërinë dhe nuk kishte më kohë për ndryshim rezultati. Me këtë fitore vajzat kuqezi u ngjitën në kuotën e 3 pikëve teksa ndeshjen e rradhës në grup do ta kenë ndaj Maltës ndërkohë që Kosova do të sfidojë, Greqinë.
