Skuadra e Prishtinës e ka mbyllur me trofe edicionin 2022/23 në futbollin e Kosovës.

Prishtina, të hënën mbrëma ka triumfuar në Kupën e Kosovës pasi në finale e mposhti skuadrën e Gjilanit. Ndeshja e luajtur në stadiumin “Fadil Vokrri” në kryeqytet, përfundoi me rezultatin 2:0 në favor të Prishtinës. Për Prishtinën, ky është trofeu i tetë i fituar në këtë garë dhe i pari që nga viti 2021 kur triumfoi në Superligën e Kosovës.

Prishtina i dha fund çështjes së fituesit brenda tetë minutave dhe atë në pjesën e dytë të ndeshjes. Pjesa e parë, përfundoi pa gola dhe pa raste konkrete shënimi, ndonëse të dyja skuadrat u munduan të rrezikojnë portën e njëra tjetrës. Albert Dabiqaj tentoi dy herë me kokë por nuk e gjeti cakun. Në minutën e 7-të gjuajti në duart në portierit Agron Kolaj, ndërsa në minutën e 22-të, tentimi i tij me kokë përfundoi jashtë portës.

Në anën tjetër, Leotrim Kryeziu (33’) ishte i pasaktë kurse Endrit Krasniqi gjuajti jashtë mbi portë në kohën shtesë. Ndërkohë, në pjesën e dytë, Prishtina ishte më kërkuese dhe zhbllokoi rezultatin. Në minutën e 68-të, rezervisti Genc Hamiti shënoi një gol fantastik pasi realizoi me një gjuajtje volej pasi u asistua nga Mërgim Pefqeli. Ndërsa, Pefqeli e vulosi rezultatin përfundimtar të ndeshjes me një supergol në minutën e 76-të. Ai përfitoi nga një top i kthyer për ta mposhtur portierin Enea Koliqi prej rreth 25 metrave. Në fakt, Gjilani shënoi një gol në fund të ndeshjes, saktësisht në minutën e 87-të nëpërmjet sulmuesit Mevlan Zeka por që u anulua nga sistemi VAR për shkak të pozitës jashtë loje.
