Kur u paralajmërua se Milan ishte gati të nënshkruar me Ismael Bennacer, vetëm pak ditë pasi transferoi shokun  e tij të skuadrës Rade Krunic, shumë tifozë ngritën shqetësimet e tyre për gjykimin apo vendimin që Milan mori, përcjell Korneri.net

Disa ditë më vonë, mesfushori defanziv 22-vjeçar e fitoi Kupën e Afrikës dhe u shpall lojtari më i mirë i turneut.
