Lorik Cana foli eksluzivisht për Supersport, në emisionin “Kuqezi”, para sfidës së Kombëtares Shqiptare me Italinë, në “Loro Boriçi”. Ja çfarë tha ish-kapiteni legjendë, i intervistuar nga Dritan Shakohoxha.
“Mungoj në formacionin ndaj Italisë? Nuk jam në nivel, duhet të dorëzohem se nuk kam cfarë të bëj! Kanë qenë emocionet dhe ndjenjat më të bukura që kemi pasur. Që pas periudhave të vështira në Kosovë dhe Maqedoni, një faktor që është munduar t’i bashkojë shqiptarët kudo ishte kjo Kombëtare. Të luaja për këto ngjyra ishte kranaria më e madhe dhe ndjesia më e bukur, ashtu si edhe lindja e djalit.”– theksoi Cana për Supersport.
Më tej ish-mbrojtësi u shpreh: “Është absolutisht mëse normale, ato vitë që luajmë duhet të ndjesh fatin dhe kënaqësinë që përfaqëson vendin tënd. Unë sa herë kam veshur fanellën. Doja të largohesha pas Botërorit në Rusi, por problemet shëndetësore nuk më lejuan.”
Një koment edhe për tifogrupin “Tifozat Kuqezi”: “Raporti që kam me tifozat kuq e zi është prej vitit 2004-2005. Është një raport i jashtëzakonshëm. Atë punë që ne lojtarët e bënim në fushë, ata arritën ta bënin me tifozët nga të gjitha trojet dhe emigracionit. Më vjen keq që nuk janë këtu për t’i përshëndetur, por kjo absolutisht nuk ndikon në raportet tona, pasi unë do të mbetem një tifoz kuqezi.”– nënvizoi Cana për Supersport.
I pyetur për pengun e karrierës dhe momentin më të bukur, Cana deklaroi: “Pengu më i madh? Dy momente, ndeshja në Europian me Francën që e humbëm në një vend ku jam rritur. Tjetra është në Botërorin Brazilian, që mund të kishim pak shans ta provonim. Momenti më i bukur ishte fitorja me Greqinë, kualifikimi në Europian dhe fitorja përballë Rumanisë në evenimentin në Francë.Trajner? Nuk mund të them kurrë, por nuk jam drejtuar në atë aspekt.”– përfundoi Cana për Supersport.
