Zbulimi i vitit 2017 në futbollin kosovar, padyshim është Mirlind Daku. Sulmuesi i lindur në Gjilan, kryeson listën e realizatorëve më të mirë në Superligë më 9 gola. Duke qenë ende tinejxher, për opinionin publik emri i tij tashmë është bërë i njohur, raporton Korneri.net.
Por si arriti Daku që brenda një periudhe kaq të shkurtër të jetë lider, madje të veshë edhe fanellën e përfaqësueses së Kosovës U21. Në fillim të edicionit të kaluar ai ishte junior i Hajvalisë. Daku shfrytëzoi maksimalisht krizën e kësaj skuadre, e cila përshkak të problemeve financiare kishte vendosur të luante me juniorë.
Në moshën 18 vjecare, debutoi me gol në Superligë, ndaj skuadrës mitrovicase Trepça. Paraqitjet e mira të tij në vazhdim të edicionit vjeshtor kishin marrë vëmendjen e trajnerit Tahir Batatina dhe ndihmësit të tij Sunaj Keqi dhe gjatë afatit kalimtar të Janarit, Daku u bë futbollist i Llapit. Në 12 ndeshje si startues, gjilanasi shënoi 6 gola në Superligë. Me ndihmën e tij dhe të bashkëlojtarëve, Llapi regjistroi stinorin më të mirë në histori të klubit, duke arritur finalen e Digitalb Kupës dhe duke marrë vendin e 3-të në kampionat. 19 vjecari për momentin është duke përjatuar formën më të mirë në karrierë. Përveç që kryeson listën e realizatorëve më të mirë në Superligë, në fillim të nëntorit ai debutoi edhe me Kosovën U21 në ndeshjen kundër Izraelit.
Sivjet ai ka shënuar 31% të golave të Llapit, për të ndihmuar ekipin të kryesoj elitën e futbollit. Krejt këto suksese Mirlind Daku i ka arritur brenda 14 muajve, nga debutimi në shtator të vitit 2016 e deri tash. Cila do të jetë e ardhmja e këtij sulmuesi mbetet të shihet.
