Është mbajtur konferenca e parë “Sporti dhe Media”, e cila bëri bashkë drejtuesit e Komitetit Olimpik të Kosovës, Departamentit të Sportit në MKRS, federatat, si dhe profesorët e gazetarët sportivë.
Konferenca e organizuar nga KOK-u në bashkëpunim me Shoqatën e Gazetarëve Sportivë të Kosovës (SHGSK), kishte për qëllim që drejtuesit e institucioneve të bashkëbisedojnë me gazetarët sportivë, për sfidat në relacionin “Sporti dhe Gazetaria Sportive”.
Konferenca u mbajt në formë të paneleve të ndryshme, të cilat diskutuan për: gjendjen në sektorin e sportit dhe mediave, pritshmëritë e gazetarëve nga drejtuesit e sportit dhe anasjelltas.
Për të dy këto tema panelistët që vinin nga gazetaria sportive shpalosën probleme të shumta në lidhje me mungesën e kushteve në terrenet sportive.
Drejtuesit e institucioneve, përfshirë presidentin e KOK-ut, z. Besim Hasani, drejtorin e DS të MKRS-së, Ibër Alaj, sekretarin e FFK-së, z. Eroll Salihu, trajnerin/kampion olimpik në RIO 2016, z. Driton Kuka, Kryetari i SHGSK-së, Arlind Grantolli etj, shpalosën shqetësimet e tyre në raport me pasqyrimin e temave të ndryshme nga gazetarët, si dhe pasqyrimin e rezultateve të kampiones olimpike, xhudistes Majlinda Kelmendi.
Shkrimet e ndryshme në portale, lajmet e rrejshme, titujt bombastik dhe
“copy paste” pa verifikim, ishte një temë që ngjalli debat.
Kontribut të madh dhanë edhe profesorë nga Fakulteti i Gazetarisë në UP, FEFS dhe Kolegji Universi.
Moderatorët e RTK-së, z. Agron Krasniqi dhe znj. Shqipe Halili Spahiu, prezantuan temën: “Të folurit para publikut”.
Komisioni në përbërje KOK dhe SHGSK, nxorën rekomandimet nga shqetësimet e shfaqura nga panelistët.
Krejt në fund, presidenti i KOK-ut, z. Besim Hasani shpalosi në pika të shkurtra aktivitetet e KOK-ut në vitin 2017, derisa për të gjithë të pranishmit u organizua një drekë e përbashkët.
