Brad Greenberg, përzgjedhësi i Kosovës në basketboll gjatë ditës së mërkure ka publikuar listën e lojtarëve që do t’i ftojë në dy ndeshjet e para kualifikuese për Kupën e Botës Kina 2019.
Kosova takohet me Lituaninë si vendëse më 24 nëntor dhe me Hungarinë në udhëtim me 26 nëntor. Për këto dy ndeshje Greenberg ka ftuar 16 basketbollistë,10 prej të cilëve luajnë në Superligën e Kosovës, shkruan Koreri.net.
Të ftuar janë edhe lojtarët që luajnë në Slloveni si Erjon Kastrati nga Petrol Olimpija dhe Gëzim Morina nga Sixt Primorska, pastaj pesëshja e Sigal Prishtinës, Dardan Berisha, Granit Rugova, Fisnik Rugova, Alban Veseli, dhe Lis Shoshi. Nga Peja janq ftuar Leonard Mekaj dhe Arti Hajdari, nga Bashkimi Urim Zenelaj dhe Samir Zekiqi, pasjat fundori i Rahovecit Muhamet Hasani dhe Ergin Grosha që luan në Turqi.
Dy amerikanët që luajnë te Dinamo Sassari ne Itali, Scott Bamforth dhe Shaën Jones janë ftuar nga Greenberg, por edhe për këtë fazë kualifikuese listës i mungojne Justin Doellman dhe Drilon Hajrizi, që është i suspenduar. Kur jemi te amerikani Doellman, atëherë duhet shtuar se nuk dihet nese ai do të ftohet te Kosova sërish, ndërsa nuk përjashtohet mundësia që ndërkohe të kemi edhe ndonjë natyralizim të bujshëm me ndonjë basketbollist të huaj dhe cilësor.
Përfaqesuesja e Kosovës do të grumbullohet për tu përgatitur për këto ndeshje me 20 nëntor në Prishtinë. Pëveç Lituanisë dhe Hungarisë në grupin C ku ndodhet Kosova, garon edhe Polonia. Për tu kualifikuar tutje në fazen tjetër Kosova duhet që të paktën të sigurojë pozitën e tretë në grup, e cila garanton pjesëmarrjen direkte në kualifikime për Eurobasket 2021. /Korneri.net
