Gjilani është kthyer te fitorja në elitën e futbollit të Kosovës, pas dy disfatave të njëpasnjëshme. Skuadra e drejtuar nga trajneri Gentjan Mezani shkëlqeu në pjesën e parë që i mjaftoi për të marrë fitore në udhëtim te Liria.

Ndeshja e zhvilluar të shtunën në stadiumin “Përparim Thaçi” në Prizren, e që i takoi xhiros së 16-të të elitës së futbollit të Kosovës, u mbyll me fitoren e gjilanasve, 4:0. Ndërkohë, Liria që bëri ndryshim në postin e trajnerit, e pësoi humbjen e nëntë të sezonit dhe të dytën rresht.

Skuadrën prizrenase e drejtoi trajneri Mirsad Jonuz, që e zëvendësoi turkun Nedim Yigit. Gjilani kaloi në epërsi që në minutën e 24-t.

Melos Zenunaj shkaktoi penallti në zonë dhe mori karton të verdhë, ndërsa nga 11-të metra, i pagabueshëm ishte Edi Basha, që shënoi për 1:0.

Mbrojtësi Zenunaj një minutë më pas, gaboi në posedim të topit dhe shkaktoi faull duke ndalur në mënyrë të palejuar një futbollist të Gjilanit.

E mori kartonin e dytë të verdhë dhe u përjashtua nga loja. Nga gjuajtja e lirë për Gjilanin shënoi Elvedin Heriq, në minutën e 26-të.

Heriq ishte i saktë me gjuajtje të fuqishme pas gjysmë ore lojë për 3:0. Në pjesën e dytë, Gjilani që kishte edhe epërsinë numerike në fushë dhe epërsinë e thellë në rezultat, e administroi mirë lojën dhe nuk lejoi befasi.

Madje e shënoi edhe golin e katërt me zëvendësuesin Elton Cale, pesë minuta para fundit. Me fitoren e shënuar të shtunën, Gjilani pas 15 ndeshjeve tani ka 17 pikë.

Liria thellohet në fundin e tabelës me nëntë pikë nga 16 ndeshje të luajtura. Në xhiron e 17-të, Gjilani si vendës luan derbin gjilanas kundër Dritës, ndërsa Liria luan në udhëtim te Malisheva.
