Barça ka njoftuar se Sarunas Jasikevicius do të jetë trajner për tre sezonet e ardhshme.

Sarunas, 44 vjeç, kthehet në atë që ishte shtëpia e tij e dikurshme për katër sezone sa ishte basketbollist aktiv, do të firmosë me klubin katalunas kontratë deri në vitin 2023, përcjell Korneri.net

‘Saras’, i cili vjen nga Zalgiris Kaunas, ka arritur rezultate të shkëlqyera me pesë Liga të LKL (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 dhe 2020) dhe tre Kupa (2017, 2018 dhe 2020). Karriera e tij e filloi në vitin 2014, pas daljes në pension, dhe ai ishte ndihmës trajner në Gintaras Krapikas për një sezon e gjysmë.  Në janar 2016 ai u emërua trajner kryesor i ekipit Kaunas. Në garën krysore evropiane Euroleague, Jasikevicius ka bërë një performancë të shkëlqyeshme të Zalgiris duke e menaxhuar në mënyrën më të mirë të mundshme për të arritur në Final Four në vitin 2018, si dhe duke luajtur Playoff-in e vitit 2019. Këtë edicion 2019 / 20, skuadra lituaneze ishte në vendin e 9-të, një fitore larg nga tetë të parët dhe po bënte një pjesë të dytë të shkëlqyeshme të sezonit.

Saras, pasi u tërhoq si lojtar në vitin 2013, filloi karrierën e tij si trajner në Zalgiris në vitin 2014 si ndihmës trajner i Gintaras Krapikas dhe më 13 janar 2016 ai u emërua kryetar trajner i ekipit Lituanez, me të cilin ai ka arritur vitet e fundit mjaftë suksese në Ligat dhe Kupat e Lituanisë dhe qëndrojnë si një ekip shumë konkurrues në Euroleague. /Korneri.net
