Vikendin që e lam pas u zhvilluan shumë ndeshje të mëdha të tërë Evropën, derbi që kanë kënaq gjithë ata që kanë pasur mundësi t’i shikojnë përmes televizorëve të tyre. Por, pa asnjë dyshim ashtu siç pritej, flitej, shkruhej edhe doli.

Derbi i madh lokal Milan-Inter, edhe njëherë tjetër ishte ajka e këtyre spektakleve futbollistike në Kontinentin e vjetër. Derbi “Madonnina” ishte kulmi i atmosferës, dramës dhe spektaklit që mund të sjell një lojë futbolli, pasi ndeshja u vendos në sekondën e fundit në barazimin 2:2, që nuk kishte ndodh që nga edicioni 1998/99, kur pikërisht dy ndeshjet e atëhershme përfunduan me këtë rezultat.

Manchester United dhe Arsenal e nisën derbin e kësaj fundjave me barazimin 1:1, pastaj Dortmund-Bayern që përfundoi me fitoren e vendasve 1:0, për të vazhduar me derbin lokal Atl.Madrid-Real Madrid që i takoi në tërësi mbretërve 0:3, dhen ndoshta derbi i Stambollit, Fenerbahce-Galatasaray 2:0, por asnjëra prej tyre nuk ishte si Milan-Inter, që vazhdon të mbetet simboli i derbit më të madh lokal në planet për çdo aspekt, ngase edhe këtë herë ishin 2 miliardë njerëz që shikuan këtë përballje direkt në televizor, dhe nuk diskutohet se patën çfarë të shohin dhe shijojnë.
