Ish-fituesi i Bundesligës me Werder Bremen, Ivan Klasnic çdo ditë është duke u lutur për një fund të lumtur për transplantin në veshkë.
37-vjeçari është duke kaluar momente të vështira në jetën e tij pasi ai në vitin 2007 pësoi një lëndim dhe u detyrua që të ai transplantoi një veshkë nga nëna e tij, Sima, shkruan tabloidi britanik “The Sun”.
Pas pak kohësh trupi i tij e refuzoi organin dhe më pas ai u detyrua të kryejë një tjetër ndërhyrje duke transplantuar veshkën e dytë nga babai.
Operacioni i dytë i Klasnic ishte një sukses, dhe ai shpejtë u rikthye në futboll, duke u bërë kështu lojtari i parë në histori që rikthehet pas një operacioni për të luajtur në Euro 2008.
Megjithatë në shtator të vitit 2016, Klasnic e pësoi akoma edhe më keq dhe që prej asaj dite dhe deri më sot ai po i lutet Zotit për të jetuar.
Klasnic momentalisht po kalon tre ditë të javë në dializë duke rrezikuar të humbë jetën.
“Unë mendova se do të ketë një jetë të shkurtër apo diçka. Shpresoj se do të kem një fund të lumtur. Kjo do të ishte transplantimi i tretë. Pjesa më e vështirë është se nëna ime humbi një veshkë, dhe unë jam shumë mirënjohës për prindërit e mi”, u shpreh ai.
