FIFA është ende duke i shqyrtuar kërkesat nga anëtari i saj i ri, Kosova, për t’iu lejuar lojtarëve të ndryshojnë skuadrat e tyre kombëtare dhe t’i përfaqësojnë ata, ka thënë shtëpia botërore e futbollit të martën.
Kosova, e cila luan ndeshjen e saj të parë garuese ndërkombëtare të hënën në Finlandë në kuadër të kualifikimeve për Botëror, u pranua si anëtare e FIFA-s dhe e UEFA-s në maj pavarësisht kundërshtimeve të fuqishme nga Serbia.
FIFA i ka thënë Reuters-it në një deklaratë se ka pranuar “një sërë kërkesash për ndryshim të përfaqësuesve nga Federata e Futbollit të Kosovës”.
“Aplikimet e ndryshme aktualisht janë në pritje të shqyrtimit dhe po hetohen. Si rrjedhojë, nuk jemi në gjendje që të komentojmë më tej në këtë çështje, e as të japim ndonjë afat për këtë”, thuhet në përgjigjen e FIFA-s për Reuters-in, transmeton Koha.net.
Kosova ka thënë të mërkurën se kanë bërë kërkesa për nëntë lojtarë për të ndryshuar kombëtaret e tyre, pa i identifikuar se cilët janë ata.
Zvicra dhe Shqipëria kanë lojtarë me rrënjë nga Kosova.
Zakonisht, FIFA nuk lejon ndryshimin e kombëtareve për lojtarë të cilët vetëm njëherë kanë përfaqësuar një vend në një garë ndërkombëtare.
Megjithatë, deklarata thotë se nuk është ende e qartë nëse këto rregulla vlejnë edhe për lojtarët që dëshirojnë të ndryshojnë skuadër për një përfaqësuese e cila më parë s’ka qenë anëtare e FIFA-s.
“Rrethanat specifike të çështjes në fjalë që kanë të bëjnë me pranimin e një anëtari të ri në FIFA dhe lojtarët potencialisht të pranueshëm për të, duket se nuk janë të rregulluara përfundimisht nga statuti i FIFA-s”, ka shtuar shtëpia e futbollit botëror.
Më tej u tha se komiteti i statutit të FIFA-s për lojtarë është duke i shqyrtuar kërkesat “duke i marrë për bazë të gjitha faktet relevante dhe specifike të çështjes”.
Mesfushori i Finlandës i lindur në Kosovë, Perparim Hetemaj, ka thënë se nuk do të luajë në ndeshjen e së hënës.
