Një e vetme, frika se mos i largohen lojtarët me origjinë shqiptare nga Kosova.
Drejtuesit e Federatës Zvicerane kanë sulmuar Federatën e Kosovës se po ushtron presion ndaj këtyre lojtarëve dhe familjeve të tyre, duke i vënë në pozicion tepër të vështirë.
“Shohim me keqardhje se prioriteti i drejtuesve kosovarë është që të rekrutojnë lojtarë për kualifikueset e Botërorit, – thuhet në deklaratën zyrtare zvicerane, – ky kërkim i ethshëm i ka vënë lojtarët dhe familjet e tyre në pozitë të vështirë”.
Zvicra kërkon që kjo gjendje të marrë fund dhe i drejtohet edhe FIFA-s që të mos lejojë që këta futbollistë të largohen.
Në skuadrën përfaqësuese zvicerane luajnë shumë shqiptarë të Kosovës.
Xherdan Shaqiri, Granit Xhaka, Valon Behrami, Blerim Xhemaili dhe Admir Mehmedi përbëjnë bazën e skuadrës, në rrethin e tyre bën pjesë edhe Pajtim Kasami, ndërsa së fundmi është thirrur edhe talenti Shani Tarashaj.
Kosova, nga ana e saj, bëhet gati për të luajtur ndaj Finlandës takimin e parë historik eleminator në një Botëror, në 5 shtator, ndërsa pret një vendim të FIFA-s nëse do të mund të thërrasë lojtarë që më parë kanë luajtur për kombëtare të tjera.
