Besnik Hasi është trajneri i ri i KV Mechelen. Ish-kapiteni i Shqipërisë, që ka drejtuar më parë ekipe si Anderlecht, Legia së Varshavë dhe Olympiacosi, ndër të tjera, ka nënshkruar kontratë me Mechelen deri në fund të sezonit.

51-vjeçari ka drejtuar në Saudi Pro League nga viti 2018 deri në 2022, me ekipe të tilla si Al Raed dhe Al Ahli.

Hasi e njeh shumë mirë futbollin belg, një fakt i rëndësishëm ky për të pasur sukses në krye të Mechelenit. Në vitin 2014, ai fitoi titullin kombëtar dhe Superkupën si trajner i Anderlechtit.

Hasi kishte oferta edhe më të mira ekonomike nga Arabia e Ludogoretsi, por zgjodhi Mechelen për të qenë në futbollin Belg me qëllimin për t’u rikthyer në nivele të larta.

Besnik Hasi do të takohet në ditët në vijim me grupin e lojtarëve dhe nga e diela do të marrë rolin e trajnerit.

Si lojtar dhe trajner, nuk ka qenë kurrë e lehtë të vija të luaja futboll këtu. Atmosfera është e mrekullueshme. Shpresoj ta ushqej entuziazmin te tifozët me mënyrën time të të luajturit futboll”, – deklaroi Hasi pas zyrtarizimit si trajner i Mechelen.

Mechelen aktualisht renditet në vendin e 14-të në Jupiter Pro League. Impenjimin e radhës e ka këtë fundjave ndaj Charleroi, në shtëpi.
