Fitorja duhet të kthehet në një zakon për Ferrarin. Kjo është deklarata e drejtorit të Përgjithshëm të skuderisë italiane, Maurizio Arrivabene, i cili bëri bilancin e vitit 2017 për “kokëkuqen” italiane.
Kampionati i këtij viti në Formulën 1 ishte më i miri për skuadrën nga Maranello, që nga viti 2010, e për më tepër këtë vit Ferrari ka regjistruar të njëjtin numër të “pole position”-ave me atë të 6 viteve të kaluara, e megjithatë për Arrivabenen kjo nuk mjafton.
“Sigurisht që këto janë shifra të rëndësishme, por e vetmja gjë që vlen është fitorja e kampionatit”, tha Arrivabene në një intervistë për “ESPN”. “Ato tregojnë se kemi bërë një punë vërtet të mirë, por ne nuk e fituam kampionatin, gjë që do të thotë se kjo nuk mjafton dhe se vitin e ardhshëm duhet të bëjmë më shumë”, shtoi ai.
Sipas Arrivabenes, një prej pikave më të forta të Mercedesit është se, skuderia gjermane është tashmë e mësuar me fitoret, edhe pas 4 viteve të suksesshme.
“Mercedesi është një skuadër e organizuar shumë mirë, por ajo është mësuar të fitojë”, vijoi Arrivabene. “Për këtë arsye kam respektin më të madh për ta. Do të jetë diçka fantastike, nëse vitin e ardhshëm ne do të rivalizojmë sërish me ta. Një fitore apo një ‘pole position’ i Ferrarit nuk duhet të konceptohen si diçka e veçantë, por duhet të jenë shpërblimi i punës sonë”.
