Vllëzërit Shqiptarë “Torcida” festojnë ditëlindjen e tyre të 33-të, ku ky përvjetor është i mbushur me suksese në organizim që nga themelimi e deri më tani.
“Torcida” si klub i tifozeve eshte formuar ne vitin 1984, kur e nisen organizimin e tyre per ta perkrahur sportin dhe sportistet kosovar me formuar Shefqet Begu – Qeti, kryesori i klubit te tifozeve me te vjeter ne Kosove.
Pasi qe basketbolli dhe futbolli pas viteve te 80-ta u shuan nga agresori serb “Torcida” kishte qen ne perkrahje te klubit te basketbollit “UNIVERSITETI” te femrave qe atehere ai klub i vetem me shqipetare bente pjese ne ligen e pare te ish-Jugosllavise. Ndersa tani zemra e “Torcides” rrah per Trepçen, ne te gjitha sportet.
Ky grup, sipas udheqesve te saj numeron rreth 2.000 anetare mirpo gjithsej jane 500-600 me kartela identifikuese. Antari me i vjeter i kesaj tifozerie eshte Xhylazim Suma, ish-minator i Trepces, qe ende i percjell ndeshjet si tifoz, ndonese eshte 75-vjec.
Per organizimin e “Torcides” perveq Shefqet Begut-Qetit ne fillimet e saj ishte perkujdesur gjithashtu edhe Emir Prekazi – Zhgola.
Lider dhe dirigjent ishte Besnik Begu- Besi, mirëpo pasi qe ai nuk gjendet ne Kosove momentalisht dirigjent eshte Ibrahim Shkupi – Baki me ndihmen e Qetit.
“Torcida” ka anuar edhe ne ndeshjen Shqiperia – Anglia dhe prej atehere eshte gjithashtu edhe ne perkrahje te kombetares se Shqiperise dhe tani edhe të Përfaqësueses së Kosovës.
Ne vitin 2004 ne “Torcid” shfaqet nje risi tjeter, pasi formohet nengrupi “Torcida PR” e udhhequr nga disa mitrovicas qe jetojne dhe veprojne ne Prishtine.
Tani Torcida ka vazhduar historine saj dhe ne krye te saj momentalisht eshte Ibrahim Shkupi – Baki, kurse para tij kryetar deri vone ishte Genc Voca.
